حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ عَنْ الْأَعْرَجِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ وعَمْرٌو عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ

إِنَّ نَارَكُمْ هَذِهِ جُزْءٌ مِنْ سَبْعِينَ جُزْءًا مِنْ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ، وَضُرِبَتْ بِالْبَحْرِ مَرَّتَيْنِ. وَلَوْلَا ذَلِكَ مَا جَعَلَ اللهُ فِيهَا مَنْفَعَةً لِأَحَدٍ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Sufyān
  2. Abū al-Zinād
  3. al-Aʿraj
  4. Abū Hurayrah
  5. al-Nabī ﷺ Wʿamrw
  6. Yaḥyá b. Jaʿdah

✧ Indeed this fire of yours is one part of seventy parts of the fire of Hell, and it was dipped into the sea twice. Were it not for that, Allah would not have placed any benefit in it for anyone.
