حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ عَنِ ابْنِ عَوْنٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ
لَيْسَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ يُنْجِيهِ عَمَلُهُ. قَالُوا: وَلَا أَنْتَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ قَالَ: وَلَا أَنَا، إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ رَبِّي مِنْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَرَحْمَةٍ، وَلَا أَنَا، إِلَّا أَنْ يَتَغَمَّدَنِيَ رَبِّي مِنْهُ بِمَغْفِرَةٍ وَرَحْمَةٍ، مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا

✧ None of you will be saved by his deeds. They said, 'Not even you, O Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'Not even me, unless my Lord envelops me with forgiveness and mercy from Him. Not even me, unless my Lord envelops me with forgiveness and mercy from Him,' twice or three times.
