✧ A man came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of Allah, which charity has the greatest reward?' He said: 'Indeed, by your father, you will be informed of it: that you give charity while you are healthy, miserly, fearful of poverty, and hoping for long life. Do not delay until when it reaches the throat and you say: "For so-and-so such and such, and for so-and-so such and such," while it already belongs to so-and-so.'
