machine translationMuḥammad b. ʿAjlān narrates it, and there is disagreement about him. Rawḥ b. al-Qāsim, al-Layth b. Saʿd, Abū ʿĀṣim al-Nabīl, al-Mufaḍḍal b. Fuḍālah, Bishr b. al-Mufaḍḍal, Jarīr and Ibn Jurayj narrated it from Ibn ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah. Al-Walīd b. Muslim and Ṣafwān b. ʿĪsā differed from them; they narrated it from Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān, from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. Hishām b. Ḥassān narrated it from Muḥammad b. ʿAjlān, from his father, from Abū Hurayrah. The correct version is the saying of those who said: from Saʿīd al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise Yaʿqūb b. Zayd al-Anṣārī narrated it from al-Maqburī, from Abū Hurayrah.
