حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنُ بْنُ مُوسَى الْأَشْيَبُ حَدَّثَنَا حَرِيزٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ عُثْمَانَ الرَّحَبِيَّ عَنْ حِبَّانَ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي

أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ عَلَى مِنْبَرِهِ يَقُولُ: ارْحَمُوا تُرْحَمُوا، وَاغْفِرُوا يَغْفِرِ اللهُ لَكُمْ. وَيْلٌ لِأَقْمَاعِ الْقَوْلِ، وَيْلٌ لِلْمُصِرِّينَ الَّذِينَ يُصِرُّونَ عَلَى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ

✧ He heard the Prophet ﷺ say on his pulpit: Show mercy, and you will be shown mercy; forgive, and Allah will forgive you. Woe to the funnels of speech, woe to those who persist in what they did while they know.
