✧ While we were around the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, they mentioned the tribulation, or it was mentioned in his presence. He said: 'When you see people's covenants have become corrupt, their trusts have become light, and they are like this'—and he interlaced his fingers. He said: 'So I stood up to him and said: How should I act at that time, may Allah make me your ransom? He said: Stay in your house, control your tongue, take what you know, and leave what you reject. Concern yourself with your own private affairs, and leave the affairs of the common people.'
