✧ A man came to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: 'O Messenger of God, I have relatives whom I maintain but they cut me off, and I pardon them but they wrong me, and I am good to them but they are bad to me. Should I requite them?' He said: 'No, then you would all be left together. But take the better course and maintain ties with them. For there will always be with you a supporter from God as long as you are upon that.'
