✧ Two traits—or two qualities—no Muslim man maintains them except that he enters Paradise. They are easy, but those who act upon them are few: Glorify Allah ten times, praise Allah ten times, and magnify Allah ten times after every prayer. That is one hundred and fifty on the tongue, and one thousand five hundred in the scale. And glorify Allah thirty-three times, praise Allah thirty-three times, and magnify Allah thirty-four times—ʿAṭāʾ, the one who doubted, did not know which of them was thirty-four—when he lies down to sleep. That is one hundred on the tongue and one thousand in the scale. So which of you would commit two thousand five hundred evil deeds in a day?' They said: 'O Messenger of Allah, how are they easy and those who act upon them few?' He said: 'The devil comes to one of you when he finishes his prayer and reminds him of such-and-such a need, so he gets up and does not say them. And when he lies down, the devil comes to him and makes him sleep before he says them.' I indeed saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ counting them on his hand.
