حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ السَّائِبِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو
، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ صَلَّى بِهِمْ يَوْمَ كَسَفَتِ الشَّمْسُ، يَوْمَ مَاتَ إِبْرَاهِيمُ ابْنُهُ، فَقَامَ بِالنَّاسِ، فَقِيلَ: لَا يَرْكَعُ، فَرَكَعَ فَقِيلَ: لَا يَرْفَعُ، فَرَفَعَ. فَقِيلَ: لَا يَسْجُدُ، وَسَجَدَ. فَقِيلَ: لَا يَرْفَعُ، فَجَلَسَ، فَقِيلَ: لَا يَسْجُدُ، وَسَجَدَ. فَقِيلَ: لَا يَرْفَعُ فَقَامَ فِي الثَّانِيَةِ فَفَعَلَ مِثْلَ ذَلِكَ، وَتَجَلَّتِ الشَّمْسُ
Translation

✧ The Prophet ﷺ led them in prayer on the day the sun eclipsed, the day his son Ibrahim died. He stood with the people, and it was said, 'He will not bow,' but he bowed. It was said, 'He will not raise his head,' but he raised it. It was said, 'He will not prostrate,' but he prostrated. It was said, 'He will not raise his head,' but he sat up. It was said, 'He will not prostrate,' but he prostrated. It was said, 'He will not raise his head,' but he stood for the second rak'ah and did the same, and the sun became clear.
