حَدَّثَنَا هَيْثَمُ بْنُ خَارِجَةَ حَدَّثَنَا حَفْصُ بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

لَا يَقُصُّ عَلَى النَّاسِ إِلَّا أَمِيرٌ أَوْ مَأْمُورٌ أَوْ مُرَاءٍ

Translation

✧ No one should tell stories to the people except a ruler, one commanded by a ruler, or a hypocrite showing off.
