حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ؟ قَالَمِنْ أَسْلَمَ قَالَ أَلَا أُبَشِّرُكَ يَا أَخَا أَسْلَمَ؟

كُنْتُ عِنْدَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَجَاءَهُ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: مِمَّنْ أَنْتَ ؟ قَالَ: مِنْ أَسْلَمَ. قَالَ: أَلَا أُبَشِّرُكَ يَا أَخَا أَسْلَمَ ؟ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ: غِفَارُ غَفَرَ اللهُ لَهَا، وَأَسْلَمُ سَالَمَهَا اللهُ

✧ I was with Ibn Umar when a man came to him and he said: "From which tribe are you?" He said: "From Aslam." He said: "Shall I give you glad tidings, O brother of Aslam? I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: 'Ghifar — may Allah forgive them — and Aslam — may Allah grant them peace.'"
