✧ Abu Bakr said: O Messenger of God, tell me something I can say when I enter the morning and when I enter the evening. He said: Say: "O God, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Lord of everything and its Sovereign, I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek refuge in You from the evil of my soul and from the evil of Satan and his association." And he commanded him to say it when he entered the morning and when he entered the evening, and when he took to his bed.
