حَدَّثَنَا يَعْمَرُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ يَعْنِي ابْنَ مُبَارَكٍ قَالَ قَالَ أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ قَالَ

رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ يَسْتَنُّ فَأَعْطَى أَكْبَرَ الْقَوْمِ، وَقَالَ: إِنَّ جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ أُكَبِّرَ

Translation

✧ I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ using a toothstick, and he gave it to the eldest of the people, and said: "Gabriel ﷺ commanded me to say 'Allahu akbar.'"
