✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ sent out a military expedition and appointed a man from the Ansar as their commander. He said: "When they set out, he became angry with them about something. He said to them: Did not the Messenger of Allah ﷺ command you to obey me? They said: Yes. He said: Gather firewood. Then he called for fire and ignited it in it, then said: I adjure you, you must enter it. The people were about to enter it. A young man among them said to them: You fled to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from the Fire, so do not hasten until you meet the Prophet ﷺ. If he commands you to enter it, then enter. So they returned to the Prophet ﷺ and informed him, and he said to them: If you had entered it, you would never have come out of it. Obedience is only in what is good."
