✧ When the Messenger of God ﷺ stood for prayer, he would raise his hands until they were level with his shoulders, then say the takbir. Then when he wanted to bow, he would raise them until they were level with his shoulders, say the takbir while they were thus, then bow. Then when he wanted to raise his back, he would raise them until they were level with his shoulders, then say: 'God hears the one who praises Him.' Then he would prostrate, and he would not raise his hands in prostration. He would raise them in every rak'ah and every takbir that he said before bowing until his prayer was completed.
