Translation

✧ I asked Ibn ʿUmar: "How is the traveler's prayer, O Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān?" He said: "Either you follow the sunnah of your Prophet ﷺ, I will inform you; or you do not follow the sunnah of your Prophet, I will not inform you." He said: We said: "The best of sunan is the sunnah of our Prophet ﷺ, O Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān." He said: "When the Messenger of God ﷺ departed from this city [Madinah], he did not add more than two rakʿahs until he returned to it."
