حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُمَرَ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَوْنِ بْنِ أَبِي جُحَيْفَةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ سُمَيْرَةَأَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَأَى رَأْسًا فَقَالَ

أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رَأَى رَأْسًا، فَقَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: مَا يَمْنَعُ أَحَدَكُمْ إِذَا جَاءَهُ مَنْ يُرِيدُ قَتْلَهُ أَنْ يَكُونَ مِثْلَ ابْنَيْ آدَمَ الْقَاتِلُ فِي النَّارِ، وَالْمَقْتُولُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ

Translation

✧ Ibn Umar saw a head, and he said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "What prevents any of you, when someone comes intending to kill him, from being like the two sons of Adam? The killer is in the Fire, and the killed is in Paradise."'
