حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
رَمَقْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ أَرْبَعًا وَعِشْرِينَ ( أَوْ خَمْسًا وَعِشْرِينَ ) مَرَّةً يَقْرَأُ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ قَبْلَ الْفَجْرِ وَالرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْمَغْرِبِ بِـ قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ، وَ قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ

✧ I observed the Prophet ﷺ twenty-four (or twenty-five) times reciting in the two rak'ahs before dawn and the two rak'ahs after sunset: 'Qul ya ayyuha al-kafirun' (Say: O disbelievers) and 'Qul huwa Allahu ahad' (Say: He is Allah, the One).
