✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ arrived on the day of Uḥud and heard women of the Banū ʿAbd al-Ashhal weeping over their dead. He said: “But Ḥamza has no weepers.” Then the women of the Anṣār came and wept over Ḥamza in his presence. The Messenger of God ﷺ woke while they were weeping and said: “Woe to them! Are you still here weeping until now? Tell them to go back and not weep over any dead person after today.”
