حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ قَالَ

لَوْ عَلِمَ النَّاسُ مَا فِي الْوَحْدَةِ مَا أَعْلَمُ مَا سَارَ رَاكِبٌ بِلَيْلٍ وَحْدَهُ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah

  3. his father
  4. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar Yablugh Bih al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ If people knew what I know about being alone, no rider would travel alone at night.
