حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ بَيْعِ ( الثَّمَرَةِ أَوِ ) النَّخْلِ حَتَّى يَبْدُوَ صَلَاحُهُ فَقِيلَ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: مَا صَلَاحُهُ ؟ قَالَ: تَذْهَبُ عَاهَتُهُ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade selling fruit (or) palm trees until their ripeness appears. It was said to Ibn Umar: What is its ripeness? He said: Its defect goes away.
