حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الدَّرَاوَرْدِيِّ مَوْلَى بَنِي لَيْثٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُمَارَةَ بْنِ أَبِي حَسَنٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ثُمَّ الْمُحَارِبِيِّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ حَبَّانَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ وَاسِعِ بْنِ حَبَّانَ قَالَ

قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَخْبِرْنِي عَنْ صَلَاةِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ كَيْفَ كَانَتْ ؟ قَالَ: فَذَكَرَ التَّكْبِيرَ كُلَّمَا وَضَعَ رَأْسَهُ وَكُلَّمَا رَفَعَهُ، وَذَكَرَ السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَةُ اللهِ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ، السَّلَامُ عَلَيْكُمْ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ

✧ I said to Ibn Umar: 'Tell me about the prayer of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, how was it?' He said: 'He mentioned the takbir every time he lowered his head and every time he raised it, and he mentioned: Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah on his right, peace be upon you on his left.'
