✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out to the livestock enclosure, and I went out with him, walking on his right. Abu Bakr came, so I stepped back for him, and he was on his right, while I was on his left. Then Umar came, so I moved aside for him, and he was on his left. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came to the enclosure, and there were water-skins on it containing wine. Ibn Umar said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called me to bring a knife. (He said: I did not know what a knife was except on that day.) Then he ordered the water-skins to be slit open. Then he said: 'Wine is cursed, and its drinker, its pourer, its seller, its buyer, its carrier, the one to whom it is carried, its presser, the one for whom it is pressed, and the eater of its price.'
