✧ One day he sat in Makkah with Abdullah b. Umar with him. My father said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: The likeness of the hypocrite on the Day of Resurrection is like a sheep between two flocks of sheep: if it goes to these, they butt it, and if it goes to those, they butt it.' Ibn Umar said to him: 'You have lied.' The people praised my father with good (or with what is right), but Ibn Umar said: 'I do not think your companion is other than what you say, but I witnessed the Prophet of Allah ﷺ when he said: "like a sheep between two sheep," so he said: "It is the same." He said: "Thus I heard it."'
