حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ سُفْيَانَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كُنَّا نَتَّقِي كَثِيرًا مِنَ الْكَلَامِ وَالِانْبِسَاطِ إِلَى نِسَائِنَا عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ فِينَا الْقُرْآنُ، فَلَمَّا مَاتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ تَكَلَّمْنَا
Translation

✧ We used to refrain from much talk and intimacy with our wives during the time of the Messenger of God ﷺ, fearing that the Qur'an would be revealed concerning us. When the Messenger of God ﷺ died, we spoke freely.
