حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ عَنْ مُحَمَّدٍعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
صَلَاةُ الْمَغْرِبِ وِتْرُ النَّهَارِ، فَأَوْتِرُوا صَلَاةَ اللَّيْلِ

✧ Narrated by the Prophet ﷺ that he said: "The Maghrib prayer is the Witr (odd numbered) prayer of the daytime, so perform the prayer of the night."
