حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

مَنِ اقْتَنَى كَلْبًا إِلَّا كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ أَوْ كَلْبَ قَنْصٍ نَقَصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ Whoever acquires a dog, except a dog for herding livestock or a hunting dog, two qirats are deducted from his reward every day.
