✧ On the day of the conquest of Makkah, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered riding a she-camel belonging to Usamah b. Zayd until he made her kneel in the courtyard of the Ka'bah. He called Uthman b. Talhah for the key, and he came with it and opened (the door). The Prophet ﷺ, Usamah, Bilal, and Uthman b. Talhah entered, and they closed the door upon themselves for a long while, then they opened it. Abdullah said: I hastened to the people and found Bilal standing at the door. I said, 'Where did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ pray?' He said, 'Between the two front pillars.' He (the narrator) said: And I forgot to ask him how many (rak'ahs) he prayed.
