حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ أَخْبَرَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ جَبَلَةَ بْنِ سُحَيْمٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنِ الْحَنْتَمَةِ. قِيلَ: وَمَا الْحَنْتَمَةُ ؟ قَالَ: الْجَرَّةُ، يَعْنِي النَّبِيذَ.

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade al-ḥantamah. It was said, ‘What is al-ḥantamah?’ He said, ‘The jar,’ meaning for nabīdh.
