✧ Uthman b. Affan said to him: 'O son of my brother, did you meet the Messenger of Allah ﷺ?' He said: 'No, but some of his knowledge and certainty reached me, as it reaches a virgin in her seclusion.' He said: 'Then he uttered the testimony of faith and said: "To proceed: Allah, Mighty and Majestic, sent Muhammad with the truth. I was among those who responded to Allah and His Messenger, and believed in what Muhammad was sent with. Then I migrated the two migrations, as I said, and I attained the marriage ties of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I pledged allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. By Allah, I did not disobey him or deceive him until Allah, Mighty and Majestic, took his soul."
