حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ حَدَّثَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
وَاصَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ فِي رَمَضَانَ فَوَاصَلَ النَّاسُ، فَقَالُوا: نَهَيْتَنَا عَنِ الْوِصَالِ وَأَنْتَ تُوَاصِلُ ؟ قَالَ: إِنِّي لَسْتُ كَأَحَدٍ مِنْكُمْ إِنِّي أُطْعَمُ وَأُسْقَى
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ practiced continuous fasting in Ramadan, and the people practiced continuous fasting. They said, "You forbade us from continuous fasting, yet you practice continuous fasting?" He said, "I am not like any one of you; indeed, I am fed and given drink."
