✧ Umar saw a striped silk or silk garment being sold and said to the Prophet ﷺ: Would that you bought this to wear on Friday or for delegations? He said: Only one who has no share wears this. He said: Then some such garments were gifted to the Messenger of God ﷺ, and he sent Umar one of them. Umar said: I heard you say what you said, and you sent it to me? He said: I sent it to you only so that you sell it or give it as clothing.
