✧ Whenever I heard something from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Allah benefited me with it as He willed. Abu Bakr told me, and Abu Bakr spoke the truth, saying: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: There is no Muslim who commits a sin, then performs ablution, then prays two rak'ahs, then asks Allah [Most High] for forgiveness for that sin, except that He forgives him.' And he recited these two verses: 'And whoever does evil or wrongs himself, then seeks forgiveness from Allah, he will find Allah Forgiving and Merciful' and 'Those who, when they commit an immorality or wrong themselves [the verse].'
