✧ Four practices I have seen you do that I have not seen anyone else do." He said: "What are they?" He said: "I have seen you wearing these sandals of tanned leather (sibtiyyah), and I have seen you touching only these two Yemeni corners, not touching any other corners, and I have seen you not entering into ihram until you place your foot in the stirrup, and I have seen you dyeing your beard yellow." He said: "As for my wearing these sandals of tanned leather, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to wear them, perform ablution while wearing them, and prefer them. As for touching these two corners, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ touch them and not touch any others. As for dyeing my beard yellow, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ dye his beard yellow. As for my entering into ihram when my mount stands upright, I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ when he placed his foot in the stirrup and his mount stood upright, he entered into ihram."
