حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
كَانَ أَهْلُ الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ يَبِيعُونَ لَحْمَ الْجَزُورِ بِحَبَلِ حَبَلَةٍ. وَحَبَلُ حَبَلَةٍ تُنْتَجُ النَّاقَةُ مَا فِي بَطْنِهَا ثُمَّ تَحْمِلُ الَّتِي تُنْتَجُهُ، فَنَهَاهُمْ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ ذَلِكَ.

✧ The people of the pre-Islamic era used to sell the meat of a slaughtered camel for a habal al-habalah. Habal al-habalah is when a she-camel gives birth to what is in her belly, and then the one born becomes pregnant. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade them from that.
