✧ I arrived in Madinah one year after the death of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and I found Abu Bakr addressing the people. He said: 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood among us last year, and tears choked him three times, then he said: O people, ask Allah for well-being, for no one has been given anything like certainty after well-being, nor anything more severe than doubt after disbelief. You must adhere to truthfulness, for it leads to righteousness, and both are in Paradise. Beware of lying, for it leads to wickedness, and both are in the Fire.'
