✧ I and Alqamah entered upon Abdullah b. Masud at midday. When the sun began to decline, he called for the prayer, and we stood behind him. He took my hand and the hand of my companion, and placed us on either side of him, and he stood between us. Then he said, 'Thus did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ do when they were three.' Then he led us in prayer. When he finished, he said, 'There will be leaders who delay the prayer beyond its times, so do not wait for them to pray, and make the prayer with them as a supererogatory prayer.'
