حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو قَطَنٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ خَالِهِعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ: لَقِيتُ امْرَأَةً فِي حُشٍّ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَأَصَبْتُ مِنْهَا مَا دُونَ الْجِمَاعِ، فَنَزَلَتْ: وَأَقِمِ الصَّلاةَ طَرَفَيِ النَّهَارِ وَزُلَفًا.

Translation

✧ A man said to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ: I met a woman in a garden in Madinah and got from her everything short of intercourse. Then it was revealed: "And establish prayer at the two ends of the day and in the early hours of the night" (Quran 11:114).
