✧ I departed with Ibn Mas'ud from 'Arafah. When he reached al-Muzdalifah, he prayed Maghrib and 'Isha, each of them with an adhan and iqamah, and he made dinner between them, then he slept. When someone said: "The dawn has broken," he prayed Fajr, then said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "These two prayers have been delayed from their time in this place. As for Maghrib, the people do not come here until it is dark, and as for Fajr, this is its time." Then he stood, and when the sky brightened, he said: "If the Commander of the Believers has moved on, he should push on now." He said: 'Abdullah had hardly finished speaking when 'Uthman pushed on.
