✧ A man came to Abu Musa and Salman b. Rabi'a and asked them about a daughter, a son's daughter, and a sister. They said: To the daughter half, and to the sister half. And go to 'Abdullah, for he will agree with us. So he came to 'Abdullah and told him. He said: I would then be astray and not among the rightly guided. I will judge in it by the judgment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ (or he said: the judgment of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ - so it is). Sufyan said: To the daughter half, to the son's daughter a sixth, and what remains is for the sister.
