حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ وَكَانَ إِمَامَ مَسْجِدِ عَلْقَمَةَ بَعْدَ عَلْقَمَةَ قَالَ

صَلَّى بِنَا عَلْقَمَةُ الظُّهْرَ فَلَا أَدْرِي أَصَلَّى ثَلَاثًا أَمْ خَمْسًا، فَقِيلَ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: وَأَنْتَ يَا أَعْوَرُ ؟ فَقُلْتُ: نَعَمْ، قَالَ: فَسَجَدَ سَجْدَتَيْنِ،

Translation

  4. Ibrāhīm b. Sūwayd and Kān Imām Masjid ʿAlqamah Baʿd ʿAlqamah

✧ Alqamah led us in the noon prayer, and I am not sure whether he prayed three or five rak'ahs. It was said to him, and he said: You too, O one-eyed? I said: Yes. Then he performed two prostrations.
