✧ We talked one night in the presence of the Messenger of God ﷺ until we prolonged the conversation. Then we returned to our families. When morning came, we went to the Messenger of God ﷺ and he said: 'The prophets were shown to me with their nations and their followers from their nations. A prophet would pass by with three from his nation, a prophet with a group from his nation, a prophet with a small band from his nation, a prophet with one man from his nation, and a prophet with no one. Until Moses b. Imran ﷺ passed by me in a throng of the Children of Israel. When I saw them, they impressed me, so I said: "O Lord, who are these?" He said: "This is your brother Moses b. Imran and those with him from the Children of Israel." I said: "O Lord, where is my nation?" He said: "Look to your right." And behold, the hills of Makkah were filled with the faces of men. I said: "Who are these, O Lord?" He said: "Your nation." I said: "I am pleased, Lord." He said: "Are you pleased?" I said: "Yes." He said: "Look to your left." He said: I looked, and behold, the horizon was filled with the faces of men. Then He said: "Are you pleased?" I said: "I am pleased." It was said: "Indeed, with these are seventy thousand who will enter Paradise without reckoning." Then Ukkasha b. Mihsan, one of the Banu Asad b. Khuzayma, stood up and said: 'O Prophet of God, supplicate God to make me one of them.' He said: 'O God, make him one of them.' Then another man stood up and said: 'O Messenger of God, supplicate God to make me one of them.' He said: 'Ukkasha has preceded you with it.'
