حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَجْلَانَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي عَوْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ

إِذَا حُدِّثْتُمْ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ حَدِيثًا فَظُنُّوا بِرَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ الَّذِي هُوَ أَهْيَاهُ، وَأَهْدَاهُ، وَأَتْقَاهُ.

Translation

✧ When you are told a hadith from the Messenger of God ﷺ, think of the Messenger of God ﷺ in the way that is most worthy, most guiding, and most God-fearing.
