✧ I went to Ibn Mas'ud one morning during Ramadan and found him sitting on top of his house. We heard his voice saying: "Allah has spoken the truth, and His Messenger has conveyed." We said: "We heard you say: 'Allah has spoken the truth, and His Messenger has conveyed.'" He said: "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: 'Indeed, the Night of Decree is in the middle of the last seven nights of Ramadan. On its morning, the sun rises clear, without rays.' So I looked at it and found it as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said."
