حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الْهَمْدَانِيُّ عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ عَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ

إِذَا كَانَ ثُلُثُ اللَّيْلِ الْبَاقِي يَهْبِطُ إِلَى السَّمَاءِ الدُّنْيَا، ثُمَّ يَفْتَحُ أَبْوَابَ السَّمَاءِ، ثُمَّ يَبْسُطُ يَدَهُ فَيَقُولُ: هَلْ مِنْ سَائِلٍ يُعْطَى سُؤْلَهُ؟ وَلَا يَزَالُ كَذَلِكَ حَتَّى يَسْطَعَ الْفَجْرُ.

✧ When the remaining third of the night comes, He descends to the lowest heaven, then opens the gates of heaven, then spreads out His hand and says: 'Is there any asker who may be given his request?' And He remains thus until the dawn breaks.
