✧ I came to the Prophet ﷺ while he was in a red tent—ʿAbd al-Malik said: made of tanned leather—with about forty men. He said: "You will be granted victory, supported, and rewarded. Whoever of you lives to see that, let him fear God, command what is right, forbid what is wrong, and maintain his kinship ties. Whoever deliberately lies about me, let him take his seat in the Fire. The likeness of one who helps his people on falsehood is that of a camel that fell into a well, pulling itself out by its tail."
