حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الصَّبَّاحِ حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ أَبِيهِعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

إِنَّهُ سَيَلِي أَمْرَكُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي رِجَالٌ يُطْفِئُونَ السُّنَّةَ، وَيُحْدِثُونَ بِدْعَةً، وَيُؤَخِّرُونَ الصَّلَاةَ عَنْ مَوَاقِيتِهَا، قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ كَيْفَ بِي إِذَا أَدْرَكْتُهُمْ؟ قَالَ: لَيْسَ يَا ابْنَ أُمِّ عَبْدٍ طَاعَةٌ لِمَنْ عَصَى اللهَ، قَالَهَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ

✧ After me, men will rule over you who extinguish the Sunnah, introduce innovation, and delay the prayer beyond its times. Ibn Masud said: O Messenger of Allah, what should I do if I live to see them? He said: There is no obedience to one who disobeys Allah, O son of Umm Abd. He said it three times.
