حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ عَنْ شَقِيقٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
لَا أَحَدَ أَغْيَرُ مِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ، فَلِذَلِكَ حَرَّمَ الْفَوَاحِشَ مَا ظَهَرَ مِنْهَا وَمَا بَطَنَ، وَلَا أَحَدَ أَحَبُّ إِلَيْهِ الْمَدْحُ مِنَ اللهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ.

✧ No one is more protective of honor than God, Mighty and Majestic; therefore He has forbidden immoralities, both open and secret. And no one loves praise more than God, Mighty and Majestic.
