✧ A man from the People of the Book came to the Prophet ﷺ and said: "O Abu al-Qasim, has it reached you that Allah, Mighty and Majestic, will carry all creatures on one finger, the heavens on one finger, the earths on one finger, the trees on one finger, and the soil on one finger?" The Prophet ﷺ laughed until his molars showed, and Allah, Mighty and Majestic, revealed: "They have not appraised Allah with true appraisal."

  • Qurṭubī

machine translationThis narration is the sound, verified one (al-riwāyah al-ṣaḥīḥah al-muḥaqqaqah). As for the narration of the one who added to this wording "as a confirmation of it," it is worthless, because it is from the words of the narrator, and it is false (bāṭilah).
