حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَجْوَدَ الْبَشَرِ، فَمَا هُوَ إِلَّا أَنْ يَدْخُلَ شَهْرُ رَمَضَانَ، فَيُدَارِسَهُ جِبْرِيلُ ﷺ، فَلَهُوَ أَجْوَدُ مِنَ الرِّيحِ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was the most generous of people, and he was never more so than when Ramadan began and Jibril ﷺ would study with him. He was then more generous than the blowing wind.
